This is Time to celebrate for the global fans of New England Patriots around the world. There is no truth to reports that Patriots superstar quarterback Tom Brady relationship with the National Football League franchise is strained. Recently, Brady, the heart and soul of the Patriots was seen having dinner with Patriots owner Robert Kraft which put the rumor to rest. Brady and the Patriots are also at the moment hammering out a long-time deal that will make the NFL veteran quarterback a member of the Patriots for years to come.

Based on his contract with the Patriots, Brady will no longer be a member of the team after the 2010 NFL season which would kick-off soon. Like a real NFL veteran and gentleman, Brady and the rest of the Patriots players went to the team's training camp to hone their skills for the next NFL season. Once the details of the deal had been completed the long-term extension of Brady to his contract with the Patriots will be announced soon. The move to re-sign Brady to a contract extension is a huge news for the Patriots especially that its arch-rivals the Indianapolis Colts is set to re-sign superstar quarterback Peyton Manning, New England Saints starting quarterback Drew Bees and Washington Redskins reliable quarterback Donovan McNabb.

With Brady part of the Patriots roster, the NFL team is expected to perform really well in the 2010 NFL season. After playing college football at Michigan, Brady was drafted by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He has played in four Super Bowls, winning three of them. He has also won two Super Bowl MVP awards, has been selected to five Pro Bowls (and invited to six, although he declined the 2006 invitation), and holds the NFL record for most touchdown passes in a single regular season. Brady has the sixth-highest career passer rating of all time (93.3) among quarterbacks with at least 1,500 career passing attempts. He was named Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year in 2005. He also helped set the record for the longest consecutive win streak in NFL history with 21 straight wins over two seasons (2003–04). The NFL season nears its opening so make it a habit to watch the NFL games live by getting cheap NFL tickets.

After serious negotiations, National Football League 2010 second draft picks Ndamukong Suh is now an official member of the Detroit Lions.
Suh has agreed to play for the Lions in the next NFL season and signed a five-year $60 million rookie contract. Lions coach Jim Schawartz is very happy with the decision of Suh to sign with the Lions since he had high hopes for the defensive tackle to perform well for the team in the forthcoming 2010 NFL season. With his decision to sign with the Lions, Suh can finally report to the training camp and prepare hard in his first year in the premier professional football league in the planet.

Based on his newly signed contract Suh is guaranteed to receive $40 million of the $60 million rookie contract. Lion’s president Tom Lewand is also himself very happy that they finally signed Suh since he had high hopes the young player is a gem for the team for years to come in the defensive end.
Now that he is an official member of the Lions, Suh is expected to play wonderful music with sophomore quarterback Matthew Stafford, who was drafted by the Lions as top pick in the 2009 NFL draft. The two are considered the future of the Lions who hopes to bounce back from a bad year in the last NFL season.

The Lions are optimistic the former Nebraska defensive tackle can bolster their defense which ranked among the league's all-time worst in points allowed. For the past two NFL seasons the Lions are also has a woeful 2-30 record. The Lions earlier drafted the 6-foot-4 Suh, whose weight hovers around 300 pounds, after he swept the Nagurski and Bednarik awards as national defensive player of the year last season and won the Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy honoring college football's top lineman.

His breakout game was a 4½-sack performance against Texas in the Big 12 title game. He finished with 12 sacks. Suh was the first defensive tackle to be drafted among the top two picks since Oakland took Darrell Russell in 1997. He graduated from Nebraska with a degree in construction management from the College of Engineering. To sign Suh the Lions released defensive tackle Leger Douzable and safety Marquand Manuel. The new NFL season will start soon so make it a habit to watch the professional football games live.
